I have a copy of the BBC 1967 radio play. It is set in the '60s and is quite good, apart from the AWFUL sound effects and music (Both very screechy!) There is another version with a different ending, but I've never heard that one. I've got all 6 (I think) episodes on a disc somewhere. (A parrot on shoulder job) Quite big files, so not really able to email em. If I can ever get hold of a legit version, I will, but I'm not sure it's ever been made availiable to buy. John Wyndam's 'Day of the Triffids' play came out around the same year and is even better, though not as good as the 2002 version. Oh, I'm rambling now. ;D
