Great news!I found a seller on E-bay that does replica 1953 War Machines.This company works out of the Phillipines and makes them out of --of all things--Mahogany!They are then painted to accurately mimic the metalic copper and incandescent green of the originals.Great job on these!I have one on the way,and the measure 8''X9'' in size,with support stand.I don't know how often they offer these,but if you get the cahnce check E-bay once in a while under the search ''Martian War Machine wooden model''.I'll try to post a photo when it arrives. Hmm... I'm conflicted between the 8" one and the 1/72nd one. If someone can tell me which is better, I would appreciate it. I've always wanted a model of the Martian War Machine in my office room or in one of my extra rooms.
