Are you sure 1999, because when i went on there sight a couple of months back it was'nt there! I have been building the Comet Miniatures models since there first release in 1993. The models are Limited Runs, so that means they are not there all the time. I only have two left. One is still boxed and un-built and one is the original released kit from 1993 which is on loan to a friend of mine. Both sadly are not for sale.

The guys behind the e-comic, Ian Edginton (writer) and Matt Brooker (artist, aka D'Israeli), are the same guys who created 'Scarlet Traces', a graphic-novel sequel to WotW, several years ago. By now adapting WotW, Edginton is getting back to the roots of his interest in WotW. The designs in the new e-comic (both the Martians and their machines) are the same as in 'Scarlet Traces' for continuity.

still having leg difficulty lol. Where the pre-cut square hole in the hood is situated, have you made the secondary hole to slide the end of the upper support leg into the hood?. If not, drill a hole using a 6mm drill bit and using a square mini file, file out the hole to except the upper leg, but make sure the hole is 'tight' to the leg. Once you have done this, use a fine drill and drill a hole 'dead' center of that hole going about 10mm in. Drill a hole into the end of the upper leg structure that will sit inside the square hole you already cut with the same fine drill and about 10mm in depth. Cut a steel pin 20mm in length and super glue it into the upper leg. Once dried, super glue the opposite end and the pin and leg structure and slid it into the hole and weight for the glue to set. The pin will stop the upper leg bending and give it more support. Before drilling and putting in the pin, make sure you already know how the legs will be angled for the final pose. I also when attaching the legs section together drill and pin the legs together to better strength. Let me know if what I put sounds complicated and I will draw a diagram.

The top parts of the legs are connected to the hood quite well, the problem is then sitting it onto the 3 lower legs, I just need to think of a way to support the hood from underneath so that it is jus the right hight to hold it securely over the legs. If all else fails I will fit the legs to a base for extra stability.

You will need to do one leg at a time. I would strongly recomend that you secure the feet to a base when the model is complete. Being white metal I can garantee the bottoms of the legs will bend within days as this area of the leg is much thinner.
