It IS worth it! There are many very nice clips in it.
Although the Machines are often just legs walking by, just as in the Pendragon Pictures movie.
But if the Machines are shown in full, it looks GREAT!

I remember seeing that clip you posted from a UFO or alien documentary on Discovery.
I've always pictured the fighting machines as more of a 'tripod stand', as in spaced out more. They should have added more tenticles too!
Better than Pendragons design anyway...

Video arrived a few days ago, very good, enjoyed it and gave a good insight into H.G too. Shame it was never put to DVD.
