If I recall, yes, it was. And about the price, here's hoping the DVD has a lot of extra's.

That seems a little expensive, wasnt it due out in June? It's a *lot* expensive, but the price includes postage to the U.K. Looking over the site, it seems clear it's aimed at an export market; exporting Region 1 DVDs to the U.K. That would seem to allay the fears many of our friends "across the pond" have expressed; apparently you *will* be able to legally buy the DVD in the U.K. Even if you do have to pay twice as much as we do here in the U.S. for DVDs. (Maybe Horsell can get you a better price!)

I find it perplexing that its the same price as the Spielberg blockbuster, I was under the impression it was being released at 60'000 stores accross america on a budget line. I wonder have they made a new deal for distribution which means an even later release date and does it have something to de with the Spielberg release in June, are they aiming to ride the bigger films wake.

£17.99 expensive? I didn't think that was too bad considering it's an import.

Notice that both movies are listed as NFP, or "Not Final Price". I.E. this company is making up a price. The actual price hasn't been announced yet.

You know, I'm actually wondering when this item was put on their site? Since they are using the old teaser poster to go with it? Is this just new on their site, or has it been there for a while?

So far as we know Eloise, this isn't going to be released as a Region 2 DVD. They certainly haven't mentioned it yet. We'll have to wait and see. You may have to get it online from an import dealer and use a region free player.

If Mr. Hines cannot distribute it in Europe due to legal BS, he can, like the Howell movie, maybe rename it?
