Who is Timtothy Hines? How does he look like? How old is he? Where does he actually live?
Although we actually know very little about him we are talking about him very often. But who is he?

I thought he was young? He doesnt look young, well not young enough to be just starting a movie career anyway, and by that I mean just releasing his first film. (I know about bugwars but I dont class that as a released film, its a short, the short that inspired one of Bill Gates chums to give Mr Hines the funds for war of the worlds) When Lucas started he was young as was Jackson and most other directors, so how old is he?

Peter Jackson young, when he made LOTR? LOL! He is 43 now...
Anywho, there is no rule that states you have to be of such and such age when making your first big motion picture. And Mr. Hines has been working for commercials etc. before he started making pictures.

Im not being ageist or saying that him being older is a bad thing its just that I thought he was a young up and coming director but as he must have experiance in the industry there must be other reasons why hes made a few mistakes.

Fair enough. I don't know about Mr. Hines' career before he took on making movies, but for making movies his only 'mistake' seems to be that he does not agree with the Hollywood style of doing bussiness. But I don't call that a mistake. I cheer for him for (trying) to stay independant. He seems to have his heart on the right place. -Gnorn

I read an article about House of the Rising so I knew about that but apart from the short low budget indie piece "bugwars" none of those films have actualy been released, I may be utterly wrong but I have been looking for evidence of their release all day to no avail. If they have been released I totaly apologise for being difficult in advance. Bugwars was the piece that got Mr. Hines the funds to attempt war of the worlds, they made chrome instead (for whatever reason) and now they are back to our war of the worlds, but only bug wars has been released in 6 years. My point is becoming vague as I type my point is that Pendragon obviously have difficulty actualy releasing their films, this may have a bearing on what we are seeing now with war of the worlds.

Allmost all of Mr. Hines movies have been released, allthough not in cinemas. Bug Wars, A Midsummers Night Dream and House of the Rising are some to spring to mind. The latter where/are distributed through Troma movies. Bug Wars was released through Escape Entertainment, but I can't find any info on them. Also, not on the Pendragon site, but listed on IMDB, is a Mr. Hines movie called The Edison Device, but I still have to go and find info on that movie. -Gnorn

***k and dammit! I think I have misread the info on the Troma site. Misummer Night Dream and House of the Rising are on there for distribution marketing reasons, it seems.
