[glow=red,2,300]I must admit that the big ben floating does look a bit much to me (plausable explanations aside) but personally I wonder why everyone is so busy complaining about the physics in this scene when applying physics to the book means the martians in the cylinder should be squished.
On top of that, the clearly visible electricity zappy stuff should surely be more of a rankle. [/glow]

[/glow] The comedy heatray is obviously a corner stone of the PP martian technology, its in all the concept art for both PP versions and is also used in the electro bondage scene as shackles. It is bad, nobody has yet said it isnt, if they did maybe a thread would be generated to debate the heatray, for Big Ben however the fanbase is split so a thread was generated to debate it. Remember that this was a money shot as far as pendragon were concerned and it was released as a finished product (if it was finished or not).

I think I may watch this particular movie whilst under the influence of a major psychadelic - that way all those garish colourised composite shots will sort of become a 'feature' and my brain will 'interpolate' the quality. Plus in the morning I'll not be sure if it really happened so if it was totally bad I can dismiss it as 'unreal'.
Of course there is always the danger that the singing half-bodied ghost lady, the acting 'stallions' doing 'beauty shots' over the hill, and 'pantomime show ponies' may bring on a bad trip but I have no choice.
I may well go to see this movie in suspenders and a basque - this could be the new Rocky Horror Picture Show. Cinemas everywhere will be full of pre-op transexuals wooping it up!! I wonder if Georgio Moroder is doing the soundtrack ?
