Check the site, cast diaries have been added. Credit due, the actors certainly seem to understand the characters they are portraying

Wow, some really cool insights into the shooting of the film. I really can't wait now, to see the whole thing together.

Yes it's very encouraging, certainly has whetted my apppetitie for more, not too much though. Eg I don't need to see any more of the fighting machine, a glimpse of the Thunder Child would be spot on though

Why dont they put the cast actor names next to the character names.
Anyway all in all an interesting little read. It hasnt changed any of my opinions though, i still remain cautious.

Oh Dear Rusti .... What will it take to convince you... what about the cast diary from say .... Ugaboo (FM pilot number one) ... How he relates his experiences working with Mr Hines, the difficulty in getting around, and how it took 8 takes to do the scene were he gets hit in the face with a shell and how shortly afterwards he had a slight headache and asked mr Hines for an asprin. or megolumpdoo (FM pilot number 2 ... he relates how it took 10 takes being rammed repeatedly by a 20 ft model of a Torpedo ram before Hines said ok thats a take and being told off for getting his tenticle stuck in the funnel of the model ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

What about the SMG the martians equivalent of the SAG actors guild screaming for equal rights for martians. Not to mention one stunt martian was hospitalized when he fell into a full scale model of Shepperton Church.

That's a nice read, Mr. Hines. Great to hear some insights from the actors themselfs. And as Rob said, can't wait for the movie! :-)
Cheers!

ooh and the "unfortunate incident" with the erect gun barrel, the FM hood that didn't latch, lack of seat belts and a piece of uneven ground that tipped said FM apparently they had to fire the gun to get the marty off!!! oww

Good old Rusti!! Just read these- I'm actually quite impressed- not only with the stories told, but the quality of writing- and though there are many positive comments about Tim Hines, it doesn't come across as gushing. The proof still lies in the pudding, but what I've read here is very encouraging. I think we are all looking for any confirmation that the film will be as good as Pendragon are promising and this, to me, seems to be a step in the right direction.

Not to mention one stunt martian was hospitalized when he fell into a full scale model of Shepperton Church. They had to put him on a special martian drip because the martian was drinking all the blood plasma bags, he was reputed to be 'quite drunk'

Quote "I remember Tim painting our late afternoon “beauty shot” of me gliding over the ridge, unbridled, like a stallion with open field ahead of oneself."
...will he be wearing a pantomine horse costume ?
Quote" Robbie, the actor portraying the Elphinstones' pony "Ruffian Stew," was absolutely brilliant. By the end of his first day of filming, we all wanted to take him home. Ironically, during the mass exodus from London, Wells infers that a horse was more valuable than the rider. True to the text, on his days of shooting, the pony was the most revered talent on set."
..no..cos Robbie will be wearing it...the 'most revered talent on set'

...will he be wearing a pantomine horse costume ? Its thats some ones arse i see befor me....! to provide the realism Tim Hinds kidnapped the entire cast for two weeks and made them drink rain water and mouldy cheese, so filming with the horse was difficult because the cast wanted to eat it...
