I am reading and hearing the words state-of-the-art CGI FX. The film is very much like watching the album paintings coming alive. So you have animated backdrops, buildings , towns, streets and martains but with live action (human) eliments. From the mini trailor I have seen that will hopefully be released at the end of the tour (and going online at http://www.mediastation.co.uk) and with the footage being used for the "live" shows, it's as good as it will ever be. So is this a real possibility then? Like the way Sky Captain was done!

It's uncertain right now as to how the film will turn out. The Tour CGI is like the Sky Captain idea: real people with CGI machines and so on but I've heard nothing to say that the film will be like this as well. All Jeff has said, to my knowledge, is that elements of the Tour CGI will be integrated into the film. There's one scene involving the Parson which I couldn't make out whether it was a CGI person or an actor integrated into the shot. If it was CGI, it was very impressive. I'll ask about that, actually.

Well, I just heard back. The Parson in the CGI section I referred to is actually CGI himself! That is actually very encouraging, but I've also been told that the human element of the movie is still 'undecided'.

Still a bloke in a blue/green suit with white ping pong balls on his joints while being mapped on a PC for later use as CGI.

So it's less of a film and more a montage of images and set pieces?

Before people start screaming about film trailers, the trailer in question is for the CGI used in the Tour. It's not up yet, though.

So let me get this straight once and for all...
This new "trailer" will be what exacly? Something about the tour? What exacly, it cant really be a trailer after the tour becasue trailers give you a hint of what's to come in the future. Or will it be a sort of review of the tour cgi?
