Jeff Wayne has kindly placed 10 signed picture disc's of The Eve Of The War from his album The War Of The Worlds on Ebay. These are not reproductions, but the orginal and now sort after CBS labelled 12 inch released in 1979. cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4713279423These are certainly a must for any The War Of The Worlds fans. I will have some of these disc's down at the 'NEC Memorabilia Show' on the 2nd & 3rd of April, so come along and see us. H_C

Were having some of these disc's from Jeff. There going to be put into a Ltd Ed framed set. The picture disc has 2 images on - The Fighting Machine (one side) & Horsell Common (the other), so 2 disc's together. Should look really nice.

I would have liked a picture disc, however £50 is a lot of money at the moment for me so I couldn't justify it :/ I'll just have to keep looking at my signed CD set instead

If you break it down it works out as a good investment - 30 notes for the disc, 20 notes for the signature.

It was damn good value for money considering what it was, I just couldn't afford it. Shame really. Ironically I can now afford it but it is too late (and I can't make it to the NEC either :/) ... Although ... perhaps I could swing on by..... Assuming they are the same price? /me mulls...

[glow=purple,2,300]I always thought "Lay Away" was an adult version of something more innocent, like "The Sperminator" or "Driving Miss Daisy Crazy", except he wouldn't be called Brian Cant..." Give me a P..." [/glow]
