Tripod has posted this elsewhere but the trailer for the live tour CGI is now up. www.mediastation.co.uk/twotw.htmThose who didn't get to see the Tour can now see a small fraction of what we who went saw!

Excellant . . Never ceases to amaze me. Lets hope this film is still a "all go".
Slightly differant trailor to what we have seen Nerfy, this one's better.

Yeah, they cleaned it up and put the new Martian in. Remember the old Martian?

Wow, that was impressive. However I am now in need of a change of underwear (Mainly because they used the bit in the album that freaks me out the most). Bring on the full invasion

Six people did two hours of that in twelve weeks. Amazing!

Couple of things I spotted with this mini trailor.
1/ They have done a Spielberg!. The machines are bigger than what they should be (look at the foot), but - the machine in the album cover painting of Thunder Child was always bigger than what it should have been.
2/ Im getting ready to be shot down with this, but I don't care - The all new martian design does not ft in with the machine. Spielberg (yeap, he's mentioned again) did a fantastic job with the machines, but his aliens did not fit in with the tripod because it looked too cute and with a face like a cub bear. Jeff's new martian looks the buisness, I really like it. It looks scary, it looks unworldly BUT the machines still look like they were developed by the people who do KINDER SUPRISE EGG toys. . . How do I put this over correctly - Imagine Arnie Schwarzenegger when he was in his prime getting into a Mk1 Ford Fiesta, painted bright pink with fluffy disc in the windscreen. I like the machines new look, but I (personally) think that if the machines are to remain that way then the martian needs to be simplified, toned down a bit.

I think it's the machine design that's the weak point. Don't get wrong they don't look too bad but they just aren't menacing enough at the moment.

I thought it was a really cool trailer. Again, that bit of the album does tend to take you by surprise with a humungous ULLA! and I actually saw the martian clearly which i couldn`t at Bournemouth (The FM stayed onstage throughout nearly all of the dress rehearsal.. think it was a cock up as they couldn`t lift it too high, so I couldn`t clearly see a lot of the CGI.. roll on the DVD!!)
I can`t believe what can be achieved in such a short space of time by so few people! Well Done Mediastation!!!

Amazing! To have a achieved that level of CGI with only 8 people in twelve weeks is rediculously impressive.

If these clips are just a 'heads-up' as to what's coming, then I'd say we're all in for a visual ass-kicking. Thanks in advance, Mediastation! What's even better to me though, is that we'll finally have the story we deserve to go with it.

Is it just me or do the aliens seem to have teeth? I hope it's just me!

The lips of the creature do have like fleshy type talons, but there does appear to be teeth in it's mouth.

The lips of the creature do have like fleshy type talons, but there does appear to be teeth in it's mouth. Hm, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Personally I can't see any reason to accuse them of any wrong doing for putting them in - just that I find it odd that they have teeth when all they do is drain blood with no chewing involved.

Thats right, the martians didn't have any teeth at all. They couldn't bite, but they could give you a nasty suck.
Oooerrr ;D
