hi. first time i have contacted the site. congratulations are due for setting it up. I tried attatching a picture to a message ealier but had some bother. anyway some years ago I put together a spoof trailer of wotw for fab cafe in manchester for a special evening...a gerry anderson guest night. as you might know he had tried on many occasions to get the copywrite for wotw but did not succeed and dropped the project. hence the spoof. if anyone would like to see some short clips of the tripods i designed for it go too google and type in (mindflight productions manchester fab cafe) and you should get there. my company (mindflight) was later merged with starchaser ind. i was ammused to find the old site still there through the above mentioned link i shall try to find the entire video if anyone needs a laugh

Those last images have a feeling of the original Warwick Goble illustrations to them.

[glow=red,2,300]WOW! Some awesome stuff! Especially some of the industrial looking pieces! Some of them very, very accurate (though I wonder where the artificial musculature goes in the frame-work legs?)
Those animations are excellent! I too really want to see more! [/glow]

Again thanks. good to see your attention to detail. As memory serves I think I had about three or four weeks from conception to delivering the completed video and cut a few corners to get it done. ie I focused on the victorian industrial look. Later I did flesh out the design with more complicated moving parts in the leg structures and added fully working tentacles. I hope to retrieve all the files on this project from starchaser industies and present them for your pleasure and amusement. tug.

This has got to be one of my favourites ever. I'd like to see the artists interpretation of the handling machine, or more work by him.

This has got to be one of my favourites ever. I'd like to see the artists interpretation of the handling machine, or more work by him. That image first appeared in the U.K as a ceramic 'collectors' plate in the late 80s (I beleive). I think this was the only one the artist did. H_C
