Bear with me on this one.
Earlier today while taking a customers order we bagan to talk about TWOTW. This particular customer has a keen interest in UFO related incidents. He spoke about the 1938 Orson Welles Mercury Theatre production of The War Of The Worlds and how it was played out over the radio, the effect it had and the closing down of the broadcast.
Its what he said that interested me, see what you think - He said his theory and others of his UFO group was that the whole thing was set up by the U.S goverment with the help of the 'Mercury Theatre', a kind of 'test' to see how the public and autorities would react to a UFO scare. Wanting to make the 'test' more realistic to the listener it was left to 'Mercury' to come up with the goods - TWOTW. The panic that followed showed what a success the 'test' was but the scale of the panic was something the goverment had not counted on, so the play was stopped. Orson Welles became the scapegoat for the goverment.
But why did they go ahead with this lavish 'test' - the late 30s gave way to UFO sighting on a large scale.
Now, Im not a UFO fanatic so the UFO part of this is something I really cant reply to, but its sounds like a good theory.

Your comment above for example, I have a theory.
I think you were asked by the goverment to put that up to take the light away from the goverment. Thus allowing people to read the above posting, then making people believe that the radio play was actually real, causing mass histeria, resulting in 'panic buying' of a certain American car that would have devistating effect in the late 1970s in England due to the sales of this car back in 1938 of which it was purchased to be used as means of escaping the advancing invaders to then allow Ford to produced the MK1 Ford Fiesta, of which millions of people suffered - they bought it - See, goverment cover up ;D

I think that Horsell Common (allegedly) is an MIB employed by the government to (allegedly) infiltrate this website. He has now made it as Moderator and this thread is (probably) proof that he is testing us, as WotW fans to see how the public react to stories about UFO conspiracy theories. They can then (maybe) use this knowledge to further spread their disinformation campaign. Also he will be (probably.. not) selling WotW merchandise with special microchips (not the McCain ones!) embedded in it that will (in theory) brainwash people into believing, diverting attention away from their real activities. He is also in (unlikely to be, but stranger things have happened) league with a certain TH and SS (no names will be mentioned as knowledge is dangerous.. ask Mel Gibson) in order to further confuse the issue so noone knows what the feck is going on. I've also heard that Horsell shares his house with his wife and an emancipated Martian Biped called Colin. They are all reportedly very happy. Except Horsell's missus who apparently objects to the red weed that is regularly dragged across the carpet. All the above is a lie.. or could I be the person behind it all? Yep I think most conspiricies are a load of bull****! But I would say I belive the one about Man Never Landing on the Moon, I've seen that program about it and it makes pretty strong stuff! But I may be wrong. And, am I krys666??? Of course I am!!!  And I'm damned glad too! ;D I wouldn't like being part of a "group" as you say called MIB or something, those damn "graduation cerimonies" ... No I wouldn't like kissing a turky's ar*s once a year and wearing a dress!  |
