It''s been a while since I watched this film, but there is one bit that really stick in my mind- when the characters are walking along through some trees and they look up to suddenly realise they are standing directly underneath one of the alien vessels! Now, if that was me I would have noticed that bloody big black metal bug-shaped vessel well before I would find that I've walked UNDER it!! Great film, but that bit really bugged me.

LOL.
I'd probably spot that from a distance away to.

I was going to mention the 3 hour silly bit of Pendragon's version but it's too obvious so I wont....

Well, that's the point. Pendragon is reportedly ALL silly. Where as this film is mostly very good, and quite respectable. Then they throw a BIG four-legged spanner in the works right in the middle of the film. This one clip really let's the rest of the film down, don't you think? I wonder if I can edit it out somehow on the PC.

In Asylum's version, it's also silly to have a not so huge cylinder, then it's open and all of the sudden the vessel is above everyone, and god it is huge. What about some care with the scale factor?

I thought it even sillier that the alien didn't spot them underneath it!! And even more so when they started legging it in full view!

Very true Killraven- I thought the same thing myself. Perhaps the alien was having a jimmy riddle or something.

Very true Killraven- I thought the same thing myself. Perhaps the alien was having a jimmy riddle or something. Thats quite thought provoking actually... If the aliens needed to p*ss then one would assume they had quite advanced sanitary facilities. But would they be able to replicate these within the confines of a fighting machine? Perhaps they'd have the usual flush toilet into large tanks suspended in the underbelly of the machine, which they'd periodically empty out into the air like they do on planes and train carriages??? Or even simpler, just do it in a bucket, open the hatch then Bob's your uncle? (and woe betide any humans around beneath) ;D KR
