Now thats sly, call it WOTW first because the name gets more hits, then change it later to 'Invasion' after everyone has got a general idea to what its roughly based on. H_C Talk about fickle eh You're right they did exploit the name, i just wonder how much in common it has with WOTW. Also in the synopsis it describes how one man is looking for a weapon that can change the tide? Maybe he's a scientist looking for a killer bug or something.

Notice how the poster rips off both the Spielberg WOTW and "Indepdence Day". This film is a cheap ripoff, but at least it does not have the pretentions that certain other low budget WOTW films have. BTW the alternate title "Alien Invasion"is clever. Just in case legal problems ensue...as they probably will. As to quality, I have no confidence. This seems to have been put together in a couple of months time expressly to cash in on the Speilberg version.

I do welcome any alien invasion film that's made, although this one will probably not be great.

I've have seen the IMDB site of Invasion, has anyone noticed the first actual character is named Goerge Herbert? Get it? Herbert Goerge Wells!
Haven't they ever heard about a thing called Over-Kill?
