Thank you again for your kind words everyone. here's my next piece of artwork... A Handling machine. ;D [glow=green,2,300]The Martian Handling Machine:[/glow] This design has two sets of 'claws' - only one is visible in this pic, but another smaller pair can emerge from the small square compartment below the visible pair when needed. The tentacles are also extendable, and are mainly used for close up delicate work whereas the telescopic claws can be used over more of a distance.

Great Stuff! I really am loving this! It would be great on a mug or on T-Shirts It's probably some of the best WOTW inspired art work I have seen, as its original and fun!

Thank you! I'm really at a loss as to what to say... You're all so supportive and kind. More artwork to come very soon... In the mean time, I will share with you all something slightly different. Here are some WotW-related graphics that I created for a uni video game project last quarter. The game was called 'Chronological Chaos', a simple 2-d platformer game where the player must travel through time and stop an evil Space Pirate Captain from taking over the world by manipulating history (yep, it's a little odd ;D). There were a total of six levels each set in a different time zone with different 'enimies' to defeat - the level background I am sharing being the one from the 'Victorian London' level... All the graphics and programming was done in the span of two weeks at the end of March... I've just been unable to share it before now because the project was still being graded. Scene: the Crashed Cylinder: To view the full background used in the Victorian London level, follow the link below (Yes, i know... not really very accurate, but it was for a video game, after all ): i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/luperis/jet_victlond.jpgThe Time Machine/Tripod/FM/HM sprites (this pic part of the 'preview/sample artwork' used as part of our final presentation): (My team-mate wanted me to create an 'original' time machine design, so I designed a martian time machine ;D ) There were far more original graphics in the game... but they are not WotW related so probably not overly relevant.

The martian weapons are as cute as they are man if Wells saw them he would have wrote: And this Thing I saw! How can I describe it? An adorable tripod, awww! (gets zapped by its heat ray) of course he would have discribed your martians like this: A big brownish rounded bulk, the size, perhaps, of a bear, was rising slowly and painfully out of the cylinder. As it bulged up and caught the light, it glistened like wet leather. Two large dark-coloured but very adorable eyes were regarding me steadfastly. The mass that framed them, the head of the thing, was rounded, and had, one might say, a face. The whole creature looked so cute with its strangely adorable looks. Those who have never seen a living Martian can scarcely imagine the strange cuteness of its appearance. The peculiar V-shaped mouth with its pointed upper lip, the absence of brow ridges, the absence of a chin beneath the wedgelike lower lip, the extraordinary intensity of the immense eyes--were at once vital, intense, inhuman, but stragely adorable! Even at this first encounter, this first glimpse, I was overcome with affection! wow, the story would have been a lot more different now eh?

Excellent! Is this game playable? I'll see what I can do... Our professor is uploading the games of all willing teams online over the next couple of days, so it should be up on the web and playable soon (along with most of the other student games) if all goes well.
